We are building the future of tube manufacturing – real-time. AI. Multisensor technology. Industry 4.0.
Tube Mill Control GmbH develops a globally novel, AI-powered, real-time monitoring and documentation system (AIMD system) for continuous tube welding lines. We are at the beginning of an international growth market – and we are looking for people who want to help shape it from the very start, influence decisions, and build real substance.
Lead Software Engineer (m/f/d)
Architecture, Real-Time, AI: the heart of the system
You develop a system that fuses heterogeneous sensor data in the kHz range, processes it position-synchronously, executes AI models under real-time conditions, and provides robust interfaces to firmware, databases, and cloud systems
Technically, you can expect:
Real-time data processing with PTP synchronization
AI integration (autoencoder, anomaly detection, MLP)
Distributed system architecture
Industrial environment (robustness, fault tolerance, determinism)
Modular, scalable software architecture
You are not developing a marketing web frontend – you are developing a real-time system.
What we expect:
Master’s/Diploma degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable
Understanding of complex software architectures and real-time conditions
Ability to develop robust, high-quality software in a structured team environment
Clear thinking. Clean interfaces. Technical depth.
German language skills at C1 level (spoken and written) – clear technical communication is essential for us
Above all:
Passion for real engineering work
Willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with new fields of knowledge and take responsibility
Confident use of modern development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
Stability, integrity, sense of responsibility, team spirit, performance orientation, and forward-thinking
We are not looking for “feature programmers.” We are looking for co-creators..
What we offer:
Competitive salary + 30 days of vacation
Company participation (VSOP with vesting & cliff)
Maximum personal responsibility
Technical ownership
Short decision-making paths
No corporate bureaucracy
You work directly with the founders. You build an international high-tech product from the ground up. Your contribution matters. Measurable. Effective
Software Engineer (m/f/d)
Modules, Visualization, Frontends, Quality Assurance
You develop central software modules of the AIMD-CCU.
You work in a structured manner within a clearly defined architecture – with high personal responsibility. Willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with new fields of knowledge and take responsibility
Your Topics Include:
Data processing and visualization
Parameterization functions
Diagnostic and test modules
Integration into the overall architecture
You work in a structured manner within a clearly defined architecture – with high personal responsibility.
Technically, you can expect:
Processing of high-frequency sensor data
Visualization of complex process information
Intuitive operating concepts for industrial users
Test and validation functions
Integration into a distributed real-time system
System thinking instead of feature thinking.
What we expect:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or comparable
Ability to develop robust, high-quality software in a structured team environment
Clear thinking, clean interfaces, interest in industrial applications

Mechatronics Engineer (m/f/d)
System Integration, Industrial Robustness, Real-Time Hardware
You develop the mechatronic core components of our AIMD system – in particular the AIMD Field Interface Units (FIU) and parts of the Central Core Unit (CCU). You work at the interface of mechanics, electronics, and hardware...
Technically, you can expect:
Mechatronic system development in an industrial environment
Mechanics–electronics–firmware as an integrated overall system
Robust enclosure and assembly design (IP protection, thermal management, EMC stability)
Integration of microcontroller-based systems
Hardware-related firmware
Functional, robustness, and integration tests
Development of testing and emulation systems
Preparation for industrialization and series readiness
You are not developing an isolated component – you are developing a cyber-physical real- time system.
What we expect:
Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or comparable.
Understanding of embedded systems and hardware-related software – terms like circuit diagram, layout, and SolidWorks should be familiar to you.
Ability to analyze complex technical relationships in a structured way and implement them robustly.
Systemic thinking – understanding mechanics, electronics, and software as one unit.
German language skills at C1 level (spoken and written) – clear technical communication is essential for us
Above all:
Passion for real engineering work.
Willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with new fields of knowledge and take responsibility.
Pragmatic solution orientation combined with high quality standards.
Stability, integrity, sense of responsibility, team spirit, performance orientation, and forward-thinking.
We are not looking for a pure circuit designer. We are looking for co-creators who want to think and build systems holistically.
